Podcast Episode 9

From Dreamweaver to Craft - The story of a female web developer

Guest

Charlie Dowley

Duration

32 min

Charlie Dowley's employer sent her on a Dreamweaver course to handle some website work. She found it more interesting than anything she had done in graphic design, quit her job shortly after, and never looked back.

In this episode, she talks about eight years of WordPress development, why Gutenberg prompted her to seek alternatives, and how she ended up at a Craft CMS agency in Cardiff. She also talks about accessibility, what it is like to be a female developer in a male-dominated industry, and her favorite plugins.
