Shawna O'Neal from Dodgy Code has never built a WordPress site in her career, started with custom vanilla PHP, and hated Craft CMS the first time she used it.

In this episode, she and Thomas dig into the Craft CMS price increase that hit the community in early 2024. Shawna's take: most developers are fine with Pro going from $299 to $399. The real problem is the gap between the free Solo license and a $399 Pro license with nothing in between, and whether a Craft CMS Light tier would make sense to fill it.
